Sound HealingWe offer Sound Healing with the use of Crystal Singing Bowls to relax mind and body, which then leads into an "Access Bars" session to recalibrate your Chi (energy flow) by certain meridian points being activated in the head and neck area. This is similar to a reiki healing session — it is non-invasive and gentle to the touch, where you experience a sense of well-being and deep relaxation.

Puna Wai Ora has been delivering healing to the wider community since 2008 offering different modalities. Our small healing retreat is located in the beautiful and serene location of the Parakiwai Valley, 7kms from Whangamata town.
Our focus has always been to hold a sacred and safe space for all to benefit from the natural healing of
Papa-tua-nuku ( Mother Earth ) combined with the
healing modalities available to bring wellness to the Mind Body and Soul.
I personally have written a small book “FREEDOM THE SHADOW SELF" that details my own tumultuous past and my journey back to healing and also to encourage and support anyone who feels called to heal — to share their own story, and find healing and closure from the past.
As well as the below healing modalities Puna Wai Ora will soon be introducing Rongoa ( Natural Herbal Medicine ) to promote healing and wellness to the physical body.
Emotional Trauma ReleaseSuppressed emotional trauma is often the root cause of illness that manifests in the physical body. Theraprutic MassageOur massage offering extends to Deep Tissue and Reflexology, tailored to your individual needs. Working with the body's natural pressure points and muscle groups, this can be a deeply therapeutic experience for those dealing with sciatica, arthritis, sports injuries and related muscular discomfort. You are always worked with respectfully and at your own pace, ensuring the session feels both effective and comfortable.
